Quote to Begin the Day

THE TRICK IS learning to maintain an unwavering focus upon your desired end result, your completed dream, the "finish line," without insisting upon, or even contemplating, its means of attainment, no matter how logical, obvious, or tempting it may seem (http://www.tut.com/theclub/).

Happy Monday.

  1. Does someone need a hug. Don't worry, yes you will get through this. I can tell from the blogs you write that your critical thinking skills are advancing very well (case in point, your previous blog about child protection workers). You have the strength, the resiliancy, the drive and the ability to survive the next few weeks! Rember that, ALWAYS! :-D  And remember to take care of yourself AND let others take care of you. Your husband is there for you! (I know mine was and if he hadn't been I would have quite 20 times).

  2. Thanks for the cyber-hug, Carolyn. You know I was just thinking about my husband today and how he has made it possible, in some very tangible ways, for me to get this degree.  I am grateful for him.

I am also grateful for my friends (online and off) who have been there for me.  I believe this grad school journey has gifted me with some lifelong relationships.

    Thanks again-
    Ms. T. J.
