We Rock
AS I WAS STUDYING FOR A MIDTERM in one of my child welfare classes, I came across a sentence that made me take a deep breath.
The book stated: "The therapist is often a MSW or PhD."
In just 69 days, and (69 billion nights), I will add MSW to the end of my name.
It's a beautiful thing.

yay! That's awesome!
ReplyDeleteStill dreaming (great name, btw)
ReplyDeleteI keep pinching myself so I know it's real. I guess I'm still dreaming, too. For so long it's been a goal and soon I will have realized it. Feels kind of strange--in a wonderful way!

From the time I successfully defended (on the second try) my master's case study to the time that they actually handed me the piece of paper with my name and "master of social work" on it, I was terrified that there would be a telephone call telling me there had been a mistake and I didn't really finish everything :)
ReplyDeleteCarolyn,
ReplyDeleteIsn't that the truth! I almost fear jinxing it by speaking of it, yet I know that is just a kid-fear.
Congrats to you, these years later.
