Ella Mae Johnson, a 105-year-old retired social worker, traveled to Washington, DC to watch history being made as Barack Obama was sworn in as president today. Read about her at: http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=99563301

How did you spend Inauguration Day? If you were there, please let us know your experiences/reactions!

  1. I was in classes from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m. I am watching it now (thanks to my DVR!)

  2. That's a long day. Yea for technology!

  3. For any social work students out there, was the inauguration or the new president discussed in any of your classes today?

  4. That's good, therapydoc! And I also read your recap of the inauguration on your blog (http://everyoneneedstherapy.blogspot.com/2009/01/new-leader.html). I watched on TV, too.
